It's almost time to say goodbye to Charlotte. The students had a really busy last week: working on their projetct, visiting special classes, taking part in school sports or the choir. They spent the weekend with their families and enjoyed different activities like laser tag, basketball or hockey games. On Monday the group took the train(!) to Downtown Charlotte and made a tour at the Levine Museum of the New South- "From cotton fields to skyscrapers". The next day the Germans shadowed their hosts at school. Wednesday was Panthers day! John, the tour guide, told the group many intersting facts about the famous "Bank of America stadium"- home of the Carolina Panthers football team! Finally, parents, students and teachers were able to say goodbye to each other at a delicious potluck dinner at school. Only two days are left...and there are still lots of things to do! The countdown to New York is on!!!
Bless your hearts ;-) (HB, HM, KN)
